1. I auditioned at 3 more grad schools and got into all of them. (Yay!) I eventually decided that University of Miami is the right fit for me (the full scholarship they offered me helped certainly helped lol) I'm really excited for this next year.

2. I had my senior recital! It was a blast. The second half was much more entertaining than the first half. I played a piece with a narrator who was reading a poem all about fish, so of course I brought my fish on the stage with me. The best part was this

3. I graduated! Yay! I officially graduated from college! Yay again!!

4. I've moved back home to the burbs and I've been hanging out with my parents. I think my folks are the coolest people ever. My mom has been teaching me about cooking and gardening while my dad and I have been shooting off illegal fireworks in our back yard. lol It's been a blast, but I'm ready to move into my own place soon.

5. I watched the Wizard of Oz last night and I totally cried when Dorothy is locked in the tower.

6. I'm teaching a little 7th grader how to play the horn. I hope he's learning something.

7. Since he's my only student and I don't have a 'normal' job, that means I have more time to goof off, which I think I am doing a wonderful job at this summer.

8. I'm trying to learn some German this summer. It's going really slow, mostly because I spend too much time watching movies with people who have fake German accents and try to imitate that instead of learning the actual language.

9. I bought a vintage style swimsuit, and I feel like Esther Williams in it. It has to be the best swimsuit EVER!!
